I “Daher” You!

I “dare” you to find a “Daher” designed tin! Actually it’s not much of a dare, because you might already have one. Daher-designed tin cans, bowls, plates and platters have become quite collectible. They are easy to find in antique stores, vintage shops, and on Etsy and Ebay.

The designs are bright and bold….

Elegantly delicate….

Or sweet and nostalgic….

You’ll know you have a Daher by turning it over. The smaller tins usually have an embossed mark like this….

Note this tin held candies sold at Disney World.

And the bowls and plates have a printed mark like this….

The tins pictured in this post are a few of the Daher designed tins that I have in my booth right now. If you want to know more about Daher, click here and here.

Do you “Daher”???

  13. Love your tins! AND "YES" I do Daher! as a matter of fact I HAVE your blue tin with the flowers. When I first got married I collected these BIG TIME! I used to keep all my kitchen gadgets in them. I "TRY" not to let them follow me home any more, BUT every once in a while "One JUMPS RIGHT INTO my car"!
    I still love them,
    Have a wonderful weekend,
    Big Hugs,
    Donna

  18. Sherry, after reading your post I went to check and found five trays and four bowls. This was without getting the ladder back out to check the boxes on top of my bookcases, so probably my total is somewhere in the whole big bunch range. My favorite is one enormous one, much bigger than all the rest.

  19. Hi! Found your post informative as I was searching to find out more information about Daher tins. I have bought 4 of these from 2 different Estate Sales. I am still trying to find out the age of the tins. Does Daher have a website?

    1. I wish I could help you more with your research. I don't know the age nor do I know if Daher has a website.
