Hurricane on My Mind!

Here we are, two days away from the seventh anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, and we're watching Tropical Storm Isaac as he heads our way. I'm hoping that he fizzles out there in the Gulf, but I doubt that's going to happen!

If the electricity goes out, I can always crochet a few more spiral scrubbies for my booth.

Looks uncannily similar to a hurricane, doesn't it?

If I don't post for a few days, you'll know why!
Prayers appreciated!

  5. I'm keeping you and everyone in the path in my prayers. We're getting light rain showers off and on today...that's good for us. But we don't want anything bad for anyone. Hugs to you, my friend!

  7. Sweet scrubbies! I may be wishing I had something to crochet too if the power is off for long...battening down everything that MIGHT move here!

  12. I'm going to guess that in the years to come those little blue scrubbies will remind you of Hurricane Isaac. Praying your home is strong and so are you!

  16. Prayers for you and everyone in the path of this hurricane. We are in Louisiana, and glued to the Weather Channel! Our church has opened our gym, and we already have many people there. I've never seen so many cute little dogs and cats in one place. :) They all are in their kennels lined up. Stay safe!!

Hope you have power. We have survived in Pearl River County, but the water is still rising. I hope to come to Laurel soon and shop at your booth.
