What a heart warming post. I do remember going to the library and getting to take home books. It was magic. Your little bear buddy is an inspiration. I can't get my sock monkey to do anything this summer but tease the dog.

Oooh, I just loved settling into bed after my bath, all cozy, and cracking open a fresh library book. It was pure bliss!! I don't think I allow myself to do that often enough nowadays.

ReplyDeleteI do remember doing this when I was in my elementary and high school days. I would still read even if its dark just to finish the book 'cause its due for the next day. Those were the days alright.
