Two weekends ago, when there were too many yard sales, there were also too many finds to include in one post; so here are some more of the vintage treasures that Mom and I discovered......
A beautiful set of tumblers decorated with cherry blossoms....There are actually eight tumblers in the set, I just included four in the photo.
An OhioArt metal recipe box and a small vintage hammered tray.
A sweet little heart-shaped plate hand-painted with the scene of a baby feeding geese.
A delicate pot of ceramic flowers by Coalport.
And finally, a stack of wooden cigar boxes.
What treasures have you found lately?
I'll be linking to the following parties:

Anything with cherry blossoms is a FUN FIND in my book! Love 'em! Do you have a carrier to put them in too?
ReplyDeleteTammy
There was no carrier with the tumblers, but I'll be looking for one. Wish me luck!!!
DeleteWonderful Finds! I would have taken all those home too. It's amazing, I ACTUALLY bought a cigar box last week too. I am SO AGAINST SMOKING that it was a hard decision to make. BUT I did, I bought it! I don't have a CLUE what I'm going to do with it though. The reason I bought it was the graphics(Romeo and Juliet)... Oh Yes, "LOVE those glasses"!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a comfy week,
Big Hugs,
Donna
There is no such thing as to many garage sales!! Those tumblers are great and I love the wooden cigar boxes, do you sell them just as they are, I have a few and I am debating what to do with them. I just found a great pole lamp I am going to work on.

Sherry you really did make some great finds. That little tray with the baby is so cute! Hugs, Linda

ReplyDeleteYou sure found some wonderful finds! Love it when that happens.

Too much for one post, don't you love it when you have that problem? Fabulous treasures Sherry. I especially love those tumblers and the ceramic flowers. No doubt they won't last long in your booth.
ReplyDeleteWhy is it I love looking at other peoples finds? I bought a blanket this weekend with a Brace Bridge label that I had been looking for for some time ( will do a wee blog about blanket labels later) I was so excited I overlooked a big mend in the middle, ah well, I finally have the label.
ReplyDeleteI love those pretty glasses! They would be perfect for summertime glasses of tea or lemonade! I went to a thrift store yesterday and found a small cedar box. It would be sweet to glue shells on...some day! Enjoy your week, my friend!
ReplyDeleteLove all your finds -- especially the ceramic flowers!

Been finding bits here and there but not sharing - if I had anything as sweet as that nekkid baby and ducks plate I wouldn't be able to keep it to myself. The tumblers are cute, cute xs 8.

Your tumblers are great. It doesn't get springier than that. I don't think I've ever seen that pattern before.
ReplyDeleteThose glasses are so, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I even could not imagine how hard it is to find decent piece of info on the above topic. It took me a couple of hours before I came across your site. <a href=
