I'm All Ears!

It's the Easter season, but I'm not talking about bunny ears….!

I'm not talking about human ears….....!

I’m talking about ears.........of corn!

I found this vintage ceramic corn-on-the-cob set at an estate sale last weekend.

It’s marked “Made in Japan.”

There’s a large rectangular platter and 6 individual servers for the “ears” of corn. It reminds me of majolica....Could that be?

Have you ever heard of a special set just for serving
corn-on-the-cob?

  3. Your corn set is fantastic. It does look like majolica doesn't it. I bought a Shawnee corn creamer on ebay a few years ago. I drag it out for summer parties.

Those are really cute but take up storage I could use for my dish habit!

  19. I have a set of six corn holders (little plates like that only there's just a single ear of corn on the plate). I got them years ago as a gift - they are hidden somewhere in the house...
