Just a couple of posts ago, I told you about a beautiful set of Hall salt and pepper shakers in the Rose Parade pattern that I found at a local estate sale.
Well, this must be the month to “haul in” the Hall China, because this weekend I found not one, not two, but three more pieces of Hall.
First, I found a casserole in the Blue Bouquet pattern.
The matching salad bowl was sitting close by.
Third, and my favorite, was a Hall refrigerator dish with fin-handle lid. This unusual piece was made for Westinghouse in fabulous delphinium blue. I love the retro lines of this large 5 x 9 ceramic piece.
But that’s not all I hauled, y’all!!!
This pink Mayfair Open Rose cookie jar will be going in the booth today.
And I also grabbed a Mississippi souvenir plate, a small EAPC (Star of David) bowl and an old pattern glass spooner.
So what did you “haul in” this weekend?

You really did great, Sherry! What amazing finds..such quality treasures. I love the pretty cookie jar. Wouldn't it be pretty filled with old timey Snickerdoodles. I bought an old apothecary jar the last trip to the thrift store. It's very neat! Wish we could shop together!

Good haul indeed. That pink depression glass cookie jar should fly out. I have my Mom's and I put a note inside that it was NOT going to be sold. I don't have many things from her and I do want to keep a few.

What a haul! Love the pretty pattern. I used to have some Mayfair Rose cereal bowls...I'm sure the cookie jar won't last long. Very cool and retro refrigerator dish!
ReplyDeleteThat refrigerator dish is *ah-mazing!* Lucky you! This past weekend I hauled in nothing because I didn't look -- other more practical nonsense got in the way but look out ... I'm going doubletime this week. Hope I'm as lucky as you were. ;-)
ReplyDeleteGosh that refrigerator dish is a gorgeous shade of blue and the shape is ever so stylish!
ReplyDeleteWhat a unusual refrigerator dish.

ReplyDeleteThe blue refrigerator dish is my favorite too!!! It looks like a loaf pan! If you baked a loaf of MAYBE Blueberry quick bread couldn't you SLIP it into that dish for display??? LOVE IT!!!
ReplyDeleteI also love your PINK COOKIE JAR...I see a few of those now and then BUT I'M ALWAYS afraid of the fakes AND I don't have a clue how to recognize the REAL ONES...
