Clickity-Clack

Can’t you just hear the clacking of these old typewriter keys as they hit the paper?

I can only wonder if this old Royal was used by some famous writer.

I found it at an estate sale and just had to buy it.

I know several of you are HUGE typewriter fans and I couldn’t wait to show it to you.

But a typewriter wasn’t the only thing I found that made a clicking noise.

I was glad to find these old cameras…..I had sold all the others I had and I needed to replenish my supply.

It was a good weekend!

  4. Great finds! How is the junkin' business over your way? Fairly stable here...not as good as it has been in the past, but we are holding our head above water...it's a month to month thing. March has started out slow. Thanx for sharing!

  8. Amazing finds! I have passed up several old typewriters and always kick myself for doing so. One was only $5 but it was during my "minimalist" phase which last all of 30 days. lol. We used to have one growing up and I can remember pounding out story after story on that thing. My mom says she can still remember the click-clack of the keys after everyone else had gone to bed....good memories!

  16. i have a great old typewriter too and just love it. i take it with me when i do talks at elementary schools about being a writer. it's so fun to watch kids looking at it. "where's the mouse?" "how come it does't have a screen?" love the cameras too - do they have to be in working order to sell? i'd be curious to know that, as i'm considering reselling.
