Have You Met Renee?

I met Renee of Where the Grass is Greener many months ago when she honored me by becoming one of my first followers. She is a very talented artist and her work was recently published in Somerset Home Magazine where they featured her beautiful switch plates. I was overjoyed when I won her recent giveaway …… a switch plate created especially for the winner. I have a craftsman home and I requested a design using ginkgo leaves. She even used some of my own dried ginkgo leaves!

That one switch plate was a great win, but Renee sweetened the giveaway by including two more switch plates of her vintage-inspired designs!

But wait….there was another little package! It included a sweet note and a little leaf magnet that Renee made from a piece of vintage jewelry.

If you haven’t met Renee yet….go visit her at Where the Grass is Greener right now. She has just finished a gorgeous set of switch plates for a California beach house and she gives you a peek at the results. She's also very gifted at finding vintage treasures at rummage sales and estate sales!

Thanks, Renee!!!

  1. Wow, thanks for the kind words, Sherry! You make me look so good.

Thanks for the heads up about her blog. I'm heading there now. :)

    Have a great week!

  3. Fun! I have been looking at different ones on ebay, and for the price of them, I can do this myself. On my list for winter projects! I think it just adds a grin to a room.
