A Vintage Poem to MOTHER

I found this beautiful tribute to MOTHER at an estate sale last year. I was struck by the simple graphics, by the colorful lithography and by the lovely sentiment it expresses to all mothers young and old. I thought I would share it with you since Sunday is Mother’s Day.

MOTHER

Every day is Mother’s Day
When life is wee and young
Her name is twined in baby’s mind
And first on baby’s tongue.

All the days are Mother’s Days
When memories retrace
The gladsome ways through sunny days
To look on mother’s face.
